The Gerald Perman Fund for Emerging Artists Recital

A recent alumna of the Metropolitan Opera’s prestigious Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, Candian mezzo-soprano Emily D’Angelo is also the recent past winner of an impressive array of international competitions and prizes for emerging artists, including the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, Operalia, the George London Competition, the Gerda Lissner Competition, and a 2020 Lincoln Center Emerging Artist Award. D’Angelo kicks off the 2020-21 opera season as Cherubino in performances of Le nozze di Figaro at the Bayerische Staatsoper Munich. At Teatro alla Scala in Milano, she makes her house debut as Dorabella in Così fan tutte. At the Royal Opera House in London she takes up the role of Sesto in a new production of La clemenza di Tito before returning to Munich as Idamante in the new staging of Mozart’s Idomeneo at the end of the season.
